FULL-STACK ENGINEER (X2)

Remote — Sri Lanka

Build the backbone of a fire safety AI platform that will protect billions of dirhams' worth of built assets across the UAE.

THE ROLE

FireCORE is a next-generation AI powered SaaS platform built by Fire Dynamics International. As Full-Stack Engineer you will be at the heart of this mission.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build and maintain the core web platform — React frontend and Node.js/Python API backend
  • Split front-end and back-end tracks in Phase 1: one engineer owns UI, one owns API
  • Implement the asset management modules: passive fire & active fire systems
  • Integrate with third-party systems including Oracle and FM platforms
  • Build the AI widget layer into the client dashboard — surfacing ML model outputs beautifully
  • Write clean, testable, reviewable code that passes automated test suites before merge
  • Work in two-week sprints with daily standups, delivering deployable code every sprint
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
  • Support the data/integration engineer on API connector builds in later phases
  • Use AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery from Day 1

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years of full-stack experience with React and Node.js or Python (FastAPI / Django)
  • Strong PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database skills
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
  • Comfortable with AWS core services: EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway
  • Solid understanding of Git workflows, code review, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests as part of normal development workflow
  • Strong communication skills — remote team, async-first culture

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
  • Familiarity with Oracle integration or enterprise ERP APIs
  • Previous work in property technology, facilities management, or IoT platforms
  • Arabic language interface experience (Phase 3 deliverable)
  • Experience surfacing ML model outputs or AI features in production UIs
