Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer - Business Analytics

About the Role

KIU University invites applications from dynamic and motivated individuals to join the Department of Decision Science as a Lecturer (Probation- ary) / Assistant Lecturer in Business Analytics. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about developing analytical, data-driven graduates equipped for modern business environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate programmes
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with programme learning outcomes (PLOs/ILOS)
  • Engage students through case studies and real-world datasets
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects and internships
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities
  • Participate in faculty academic and administrative activities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with First Class or Second Class Upper Division in a relevant field
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field (required for Lecturer (Probationary) level)
  • Academic or industry experience in analytics, AI/ML, or business intelligence is preferred
  • Teaching, training, or mentoring experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
