QA Engineer Intern (Software Testing & Automation)

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer Intern who is passionate about software quality and interested in both manual and automation testing. If you enjoy finding issues, improving systems, and ensuring high-quality products, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Overview

You will work closely with our development and AI teams to ensure our products are reliable, scalable, and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Identify, report, and track bugs with clear documentation
• Write and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test specifications (TSpec)
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Execute regression testing (manual & automated) before releases
• Perform basic API testing (e.g., using Postman)
• Use tools like JIRA for bug tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Verify bug fixes and ensure overall product quality

Requirements

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts
• Strong attention to detail (critical for this role)
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of web applications
• Good communication skills

Bonus Skills (Strong Advantage)

• Experience using JIRA for bug reporting and tracking
• Ability to create test specifications (TSpec) and structured test documentation
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
• Ability to write automation/test scripts
• Experience in running regression test suites
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST APIs)
• Basic programming knowledge (Python / JavaScript)
