Software Engineering Intern

Biztat   Remote • Internship

Biztat is looking for a Full Stack Engineering Intern to help us develop intelligent business applications. This is a hands on role perfect for students in CS or Data Science who want to bridge the gap between web development and AI/ML.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain web applications (frontend + backend)
  • Build and integrate AI/ML features into applications
  • Perform data analysis, preprocessing, and visualization
  • Design and consume REST APIs
  • Work with databases and cloud services
  • Collaborate on deploying applications and ML models

What We’re Looking For

  • Undergraduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Strong skills in Python
  • Familiarity with:
    • Frontend (React / HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
    • Backend (Node.js / Python APIs)
    • Databases (Firebase / MongoDB / MySQL)
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts
  • Knowledge of Git/version control
  • Ability to build and learn independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TensorFlow / PyTorch / Scikit-learn
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools
  • Experience deploying apps or ML models
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure ML, Functions, or Storage)

Internship Details

Location: Sri Lanka (Remote)

Duration: 3–6 months
