.NET Backend Developer (ASP.NET Core)

IYKONS is looking for a skilled and passionate .NET Backend Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing tech team and build scalable, high-performance applications.

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using modern .NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core
  • Implement backend logic, middleware, and routing
  • Work with Dependency Injection and clean architecture principles
  • Handle authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth basics)
  • Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure performance optimization and scalability of applications

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET development
  • Strong knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core
  • Experience in building REST APIs
  • Good understanding of Dependency Injection, Middleware & Routing
  • Knowledge of authentication & authorization mechanisms
  • Strong SQL skills and database design knowledge
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and migrations
  • Familiarity with SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySQL
  • Experience with Git, GitHub or Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of API integrations and Swagger

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Knowledge of Redis caching
  • Experience in performance optimization
