Assistant Manager - Tenders and RFP
Job Description
Job Scope
In this role, you will manage the entire tender process, from identifying opportunities to submitting proposals, ensuring compliance with both private and government sector requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely submissions that drive business growth for Bileeta’s IT software solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and costings in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle all tender-related activities, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), due diligence questionnaires, IPE surveys, etc.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective completion of tender submissions.
- Monitor RFPs and other tender opportunities from various channels and recommend potential bids for Bileeta.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and engage in discussions to ensure precise and complete tender submissions.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to build pipelines, submit winning proposals, and close deals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to make informed business development decisions.
Requirements to Apply
- Proven experience in managing tenders within the IT software solutions sector, particularly in Sri Lanka.
- Familiarity with both private and government sector bidding processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Marketing or Business from a recognized university.
- Strong communication in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and IT solutions is highly advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines.
