Deputy Manager - IT Application

Job Description

PGP Glass Ceylon PLC is looking for a Deputy Manager – IT Application to join our team. Be part of a global leader and drive impactful technology solutions.

What We Look For

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/ Technical/Management or a related discipline.
• 5-6 years of experience in SAP and Enterprise Application environments.
• An MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Experience in process configuration and application-side operations.
• Age 32-35 years preferred.
• Willingness to work flexibly across locations if required.

Job Role

• Lead requirements gathering and perform detailed business analysis to identify technology solutions.
• Design effective solutions and drive end-to-end problem solving for business applications.
• Develop functional documentation, business requirements, and use cases.
• Analyze and optimize business processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for enterprise systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT teams to ensure smooth system delivery, operations, and ongoing support.

Required Technical Exposure

• Strong analytical, design thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in one or more SAP functional areas (SD,EWM, LE, MM, FICO, PP/QM).
• Experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, and AMS engagements.
• Knowledge of non-SAP applications such as Salesforce and HR systems.
• Experience in SAP and non-SAP system integrations.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
