Job Scope

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of our ELMIS solution from project initiation to successful completion. You will ensure that assigned milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting established quality standards and client expectations. The role requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, and international partners, while maintaining strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and implementation frameworks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and successful implementation of ELMIS solutions from project initiation through to deployment and post-implementation support.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams including software development, QA, product, and support teams to drive project execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and system performance.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder communications, and status reporting to ensure transparency and alignment across all parties.
• Ensure proper documentation, project governance, and compliance with implementation frameworks and reporting requirements.
• Support capacity-building and knowledge transfer activities, including training for client teams and implementation partners.
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure successful adoption of the system and long-term project sustainability.
• Apply Agile project management practices and frameworks to support efficient project execution.

Requirements to Apply

• Proven experience managing software implementation or technology projects, preferably involving international stakeholders.
• Experience delivering large-scale national or regional level projects will be a strong advantage.
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or PMP certification will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong project management, coordination, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, government counterparts, and international partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain project accountability, and drive projects to successful completion within defined timelines and budgets.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving capability.
