Engineer - Information Security

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, including 3-4 years in a similar role at a System Integrator / Solutions Provider.
• Bachelor's degree in IT specializing in Cybersecurity or Networking.
• Strong knowledge of information security concepts and practices.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Firewalls, WAF, EDR/ XDR, SIEM, PAM, and Data Protection Solutions.
• Proven ability to design and configure complex cybersecurity solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive learner with a commitment to staying current with evolving technologies and industry trends.
• Must hold CCNA certification with excellent networking knowledge.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ / CYSA+ / CEH are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across Sri Lanka, and work extended hours when required.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and design tailored solutions.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and competitive proposals.
• Conduct workshops, product demos, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for clients.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers and sales teams.
• Lead solution deployments, configurations, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide onsite and remote technical support when required.
• Deliver training and onboarding for customers and internal teams.
