Role Description
Webtezza is looking for a Business Analyst Associate who is passionate about understanding business operations and translating business needs into effective software solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with clients, developers, designers, and project managers to analyze business requirements and ensure that software solutions align with client expectations.
The position involves requirement gathering, system analysis, documentation, and software testing to ensure that the final product meets the required business and functional standards.
You will play an important role in bridging the gap between clients and the development team by ensuring clear communication, accurate requirement documentation, and proper validation of delivered features.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in client meetings to understand business processes, project goals, and system requirements.
- Gather and document detailed functional and business requirements from clients.
- Analyze business workflows and translate requirements into clear documentation such as requirement specifications, user stories, and feature lists.
- Prepare system workflows, process diagrams, and functional documentation to support the development process.
- Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements and ensure accurate implementation of system features.
- Perform system testing and validate that developed features meet the documented requirements and function correctly.
- Communicate with clients to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure expectations are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, feature breakdowns, and system scope documentation.
- Research industry practices and identify potential improvements that can enhance client solutions.
- Support project managers in monitoring project progress and ensuring requirement alignment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in technology, software systems, and business process analysis.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and structured requirement documentation.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and system workflows.
- Experience or familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Excel, Jira, Trello, or other project management tools is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in English Language
