Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs)

Job Description

We are hiring AI-Focused Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) in Colombo to lead enterprise adoption of cutting-edge AI tools for software engineering. You'll be the primary technical interface for clients, onboarding teams, running enablement workshops, designing AI workflows, and ensuring customers extract real value from our platform.

What You'll Do

• Engineering Depth — Demonstrate expertise across Java, .Net, Node, React, Angular, or similar. Provide architectural context (clean architecture, microservices, REST APIs, SOLID/GoF) when demonstrating AI capabilities.
• Technical Enablement — Lead workshops and training for developers, architects, and engineering leaders on AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, code generation, refactoring, and debugging.
• Client Engagement — Guide clients through real-time troubleshooting, custom configurations, and pilot deployments.
• Feedback Loop — Relay customer insights to product/engineering teams and build client self-sufficiency through documentation and ongoing support.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in software engineering, consulting, or developer enablement
• Hands-on proficiency in Java, .Net, JS, React, Angular, or Python
• Solid grounding in microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and Git
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering
• Strong communicator; technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Willingness to travel

Preferred: Experience delivering technical training, background in solution/platform engineering, or exposure to LLM-based coding assistants.
