Web Designer

Job Type : Full Time

The candidate is expected to collaborate with other teams and team members to research, plan, and design the ideal UI for websites following a process of wireframing and prototyping.

Required Skills & Experience

Responsibilities

• Conceptualising creative ideas with clients and internal teams.
• Study design briefs and conceptualise requirements.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Preparing design plans.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Designing sample pages including colours and fonts.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders as well as the ability to listen carefully, articulate your ideas clearly, and collaborate with others.

Technical skills

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD) is a must.
• Proficiency in interface design tools such as Sketch and Figma.
• Knowledge about web design and UI/UK principles and technologies.

Additional Knowledge/ Skills

• An understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Video editing and creation skills.
• Knowledge of web typography and colour theory.
• Knowledge of design concepts.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Qualifications

• A bachelor-level degree or an HND-level qualification in Web Design.
