About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to design test strategies, identify defects, and improve overall product quality.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and enjoys breaking systems (responsibly) to make them better.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance)
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release cycles
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar
  • Perform database validation testing (SQL queries)
  • Ensure test coverage for new features and system enhancements
  • Support CI/CD pipeline testing and release validation
  • Maintain QA documentation and test reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA (Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals may apply)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SDLC & STLC
    • Manual testing techniques
    • Regression & Integration testing
  • Experience with:
    • API testing (Postman / REST)
    • SQL queries
    • Git
    • Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright) is a plus
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing Spring Boot / Java backend applications
  • Experience testing React / Angular frontend applications
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
