Senior Technical Writer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for our software products. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and support teams, both locally and globally, to translate complex technical concepts into user‑friendly content.

This role supports Global Product Management, clients and end users, and internal teams, and plays a key role in ensuring consistent, high‑quality documentation across products and regions.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Create and maintain user manuals, API guides, release notes, system documentation, and online help content
• Collaborate with global and Sri Lanka–based product teams to understand features and technical requirements
• Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with product releases
• Support internal teams with training materials and knowledge‑base content

Qualification & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Writer in a software or SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of software development concepts and workflows
• Excellent written communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences
• Experience working with cross‑functional and distributed teams
• Familiarity with Markdown, Confluence, Git, Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience with Figma or Affinity, JIRA, SharePoint, and PDF editing tools
