Overview of the Role

The General Manager-IT & Transformation will serve as a group-level strategic leader responsible for aligning technology initiatives with aggressive sales and distribution objectives.

This role will oversee the stability, optimization and enhancement of the company's ERP ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration across warehouse operations, inventory management and the sales force.

The ideal candidate is required to combine strong infrastructure expertise with deep business process knowledge, particularly in high-volume sales distribution or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the IT and Digital Transformation Strategy of the Group.
  • Lead enterprise systems governance including ERP (SAP & GAPRO) and integrated applications.
  • Design and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency, transparency and internal controls.
  • Strengthen the governance framework and technology-enabled internal control environment.
  • Ensure availability and optimum performance of critical systems and infrastructure.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual workload and operational errors.
  • Oversee IT risk management, compliance and secure connectivity across locations.
  • Optimize technology costs through effective vendor management and licensing strategies. Build and lead a high-performing team while fostering cross-functional collaboration. Effectively management of IT budgets and technology investments.

Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in IT, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the Auto Parts Aftermarket, Retail or Manufacturing sectors.

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Management is required, while a Master's Degree or professional certifications in IT, Al, Project Management or SAP will be considered an added advantage.

ERP Expertise: Proven experience in managing sales-centric ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred).

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supply chain logistics and mobile sales force automation tools.

Industry Exposure: Experience in ERP implementations related to Apparel Manufacturing will be considered a significant advantage.

Core Competencies: Exceptional project management skills, strategic thinking and the ability to translate technical concepts into business-driven solutions.
