Job Description
PMF Finance PLC, the fast growing non- banking financial institution in Sri Lanka, invites applications from dynamic and result oriented individuals with relevant qualifications and experience for the following position.
Job Profile
- Manage and coordinate Core Business Systems (CBS) support services in line with approved SLAs, ensuring high availability, performance, and system stability.
- Oversee application operations, health monitoring, and business continuity for all critical systems.
- Prepare and maintain essential technical and system documentation.
- Provide application support, guidance, and solutions to end users and business stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and implement business support applications to automate processes and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for application implementation, enhancement, and support.
- Manage application databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements, including ISSP, BCP, and CBSL Technology Risk Management & Resilience Guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and support access rights reviews.
- Manage change requests, application releases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in accordance with change management procedures.
- Support Management Information Systems (MIS) requirements and introduce cost- effective reporting solutions.
- Review business processes and introduce technology-driven improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct training and awareness programs and develop user manuals and documentation.
- Ensure day-end processing, backups, and data protection activities are completed as per policy.
- Stay updated on IT/IS best practices and support policy, process, and procedure improvements
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification in IT, Systems, or Management will be an added advantage.
- 5-7 years of experience in application development, implementation, and enterprise application support.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role handling mission-critical systems.
- Prior experience in the BFSI / Financial Services sector with exposure to Core Business Systems will be a strong advantage. Strong understanding of:
- Core business / financial application systems.
- Application support, system availability, and business continuity
- Application security, access controls, and audit requirements
- Change management, release management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Proven experience in:
- Managing vendors and service providers under SLA-driven environments
- Application database management and performance monitoring
- Regulatory and audit coordination, including compliance with CBSL Technology Risk Management & Resilience Guidelines
- Risk assessments, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and access rights reviews.
- Sound knowledge of MIS reporting, data accuracy, and decision-support systems.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and process improvement skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in a regulated, high-availability BFSI environment.
