Assistant Manager - IT Infrastructure

Job Description

PMF Finance PLC, the fast growing non-banking financial institution in Sri Lanka, invites applications from dynamic and result oriented individuals with relevant qualifications and experience for the following position.

Job Profile

• End-to-end management and administration of hardware firewall and network switching infrastructure.
• Administration and maintenance of NAS/SAN-based storage systems.
• Vendor coordination for IT infrastructure, security solutions, and support services.
• Configuration and maintenance of biometric attendance devices and attendance management applications.
• Monitoring and administration of endpoint security management consoles.
• Administration and support of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Managing and maintaining the enterprise network infrastructure across all island-wide branches.
• Administration and maintenance of Primary Data Center servers and infrastructure.
• Monitoring and operational support for the Disaster Recovery (DR) site.
• Administration of Microsoft 365 (0365) Platform.
• Management and support of Active Directory (AD) services.
• Project coordination for IT infrastructure, security, and transformation initiatives.
• Performing Windows Server and endpoint patch management.
• Ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience of IT systems.
• Supporting IT security controls, governance requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent Microsoft infrastructure certification.
• Professional certifications or hands-on experience in server virtualization and hypervisor technologies.
• Experience and/or certifications related to enterprise virtualization platforms (e.g., Hypervisor/ VMware or equivalent)
• Candidates with multiple relevant certifications will have a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Operations and Infrastructure Management.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the BFSI / Financial Services sector will be a strong advantage. Strong technical knowledge of:
  • Enterprise networks (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, SASE)
  • Servers, virtualization, and hardware platforms
  • Hardware firewalls and network security architectures
  • Data Center (DC), and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments
  • Enterprise software systems
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Hardware firewall administration
  • DC & DR operations
  • High Availability (HA) infrastructure environments
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and operational risk controls
