Role Summary

As a Junior Web Developer at Inubzee, you will help design, build, and maintain marketing sites and web applications using Figma designs, React, and WordPress.

You will work closely with designers, senior engineers, and product owners to turn requirements and UI mockups into responsive, production‑ready web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert Figma/UI designs into responsive web pages using React, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites (themes, basic customization, plugins configuration, page builders as needed).​
• Implement basic front‑end logic (forms, API calls, UI state) in React/JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to refine layouts, components, and interactions and ensure design fidelity.
• Perform content updates, bug fixes, and small feature improvements across existing client sites.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, basic SEO best practices, and good performance.
• Work with Git‑based workflows (GitHub or similar) for version control and code reviews.​
• Document work clearly (readme notes, simple implementation docs) and update tickets on the project management board.​

Required Skills & Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in web development (internships and strong personal projects are acceptable).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript fundamentals.
• Practical experience with React (components, props/state, hooks, basic routing).
• Hands‑on WordPress experience: installing themes, configuring plugins, customizing layouts (Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar).​
• Ability to translate Figma (or similar) designs into pixel‑accurate front‑end implementations.​
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile‑first principles.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and integrating front‑end components with back‑end services.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team environment.​

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with Next.js or another React framework.​
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, or SASS.
• Exposure to basic SEO concepts and analytics tools.
• Prior experience working with international clients or remote teams.​

Remote Work & Working Hours

• This role is offered as remote‑friendly within Sri Lanka.
• Core collaboration hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sri Lanka time, with some flexibility around start/end times.
• Stable internet connection and a quiet working environment are expected for remote work.​

Salary Band & Benefits

• Expected salary range: LKR 80,000 - 120,000 per month, depending on skills, portfolio strength, and experience level.
• Performance‑based increments.

• Paid leave in line with Sri Lankan labour norms and company policy.​
