Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Group Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the group, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of financial management and a proven track record of driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

• • Oversee group financial reporting, consolidations, and monthly/annual closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Develop and implement strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members across business units
  • Support ERP improvements, automation, and financial data analytics initiatives

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role, preferably in a group or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing financial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
