Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager – Retail will oversee and drive the performance of the retail business, ensuring strong brand presence, profitable operations, and an exceptional customer experience. This role combines retail operations leadership with marketing, branding, and design oversight to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end retail operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and brand consistency across outlets.
- Oversee P&L performance, budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Drive retail marketing, branding, visual merchandising, and in-store design strategies aligned with brand identity.
- Develop and execute sales plans, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze performance reports, and implement improvement actions.
- Manage, mentor, and develop retail management teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and design teams to ensure smooth product flow and brand execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and retail best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in retail, with strong exposure to marketing, branding, and design.
- Proven expertise in retail operations and P&L management.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
