Role Overview:

As an Associate Technical Lead (Java), you will support the Technical Lead in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions. You will take ownership of key technical components, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural and design decisions. Using your expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices, you will help ensure code quality, performance, and alignment with best practices while driving successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities as an Associate Technical Lead (Java):

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services following software design patterns and best practices.
• Support technical leadership by guiding developers and reviewing code for quality and performance.
• Collaborate in implementing frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure efficient data management.
• Assist in managing CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.
• Support integration with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain business logic and rule-based components as required.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Actively contribute to Scrum and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and software design patterns.
• Exposure to Angular or React and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
