Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Siyabalape. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure budgets are maintained.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and records.
• Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Assist in tendering, contract administration, and valuation processes.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and project managers.
• Handle variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Main Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction field as a Quantity Surveyor.
• NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project documentation.
• Good analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS software is an advantage.
