Software Engineer (Intern)

The Software Engineer Intern will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications while gaining hands-on experience in real-world development environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance backend services using Node.js + TypeScript (e.g., Fastify) and/or Python (e.g., FastAPI)
• Write clean, maintainable code with clear documentation and meaningful tests
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and support feature delivery
• Collaborate with product/QA to clarify requirements and validate expected behavior
• Assist in system enhancements and feature development
• Follow secure coding practices and contribute to quality/security checks (e.g., SonarQube, Trivy)
• Learn how services are deployed and operated in AWS environments (high-level exposure)

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python)
• Understanding of basics: APIs, HTTP, data structures, debugging, and software development lifecycle
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly

Preferred Extras:

• Experience with Git or version control tools
• Familiarity with backend frameworks (Fastify/FastAPI)
• Exposure to web or mobile application development
• Exposure to cloud basics (AWS)
