Join our dynamic AI software development team in Colombo! We are seeking to recruit a passionate and innovative Junior Software Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in software development. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge AI platform for a US-based startup, contributing to the future of AI  technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to design and implement software solutions for our AI platform.
• Participate in the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Adapt to new tools and technologies, demonstrating a willingness to innovate and enhance existing systems.
• Work closely with senior engineers to refine your technical skills and gain insights into AI technologies.
• Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas and feedback to drive project success.
• Reporting to and working with our lead AI Engineer will take ownership of assisting in the execution of our Software Platform  

Requirements

• Strong foundation in software development, with experience in relevant programming languages and technologies.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork abilities, with a flexible mindset to tackle challenges and support team goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks.
• Must be able to work from home and work closely with other engineers in Colombo and be open to flexible hours as needed with a US based company
• Must have completed your education and ready to work full time

Qualifications

• An Honours degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development. Must have Python experience and other programming experience would be a plus.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
• A proactive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to innovative projects.
