Overview
We are excited to welcome a detail-oriented and motivated Software Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to our dynamic development team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications, which are built using cutting-edge technologies, including the MERN stack. This internship is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates keen on pursuing a career in software testing and quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing web applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Execute manual test cases and accurately report bugs to facilitate efficient resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand features and verify bug fixes.
• Participate in the creation of test cases, execution of tests, and regression testing processes.
• Identify edge cases to enhance test coverage and overall application reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including bug reports and test results.
• Learn and adhere to QA best practices and established testing standards.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, including manual testing, test case development, and the bug life cycle.
• Familiarity with web applications and their operational mechanics.
• Knowledge of QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, and Cypress is advantageous.
• Fundamental understanding of API testing methodologies.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes is preferred.
• A keen interest in automation testing.
• Experience in testing applications built on the MERN stack is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills for clear and concise issue reporting.
