A leading organization in the technology sector, based in Bambalapitiya, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of reliable and scalable software solutions. The role focuses on technical excellence, code quality, and collaboration within a fast-paced and innovative development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications in line with business and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in system architecture planning and technical design discussions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing applications and systems.
• Ensure software security, data protection, and compliance with company policies.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language(Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP, or similar).
• Experience working with frameworks, APIs, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in web, mobile, or enterprise application development is an added advantage.
