VitalFew, an Australian tech company,We are seeking a highly capable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central specialist with strong NAV heritage to take full technical ownership of our ERP platform, working as a trusted extension of our internal Technology team. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role accountable for the stability, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of our Business Central environment across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse operations.

This is an ownership role-not a support desk position. The successful candidate will be expected to lead by doing: driving measurable outcomes, continuously improving the platform, and proactively identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and standardise processes to support scale and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform
• Act as the primary technical SME for BC and NAV
• Develop and maintain AL extensions and customisations
• Refactor legacy NAV code and reduce customisation footprint
• Plan and execute upgrades and release management
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems
• Implement automation using Power Automate and Power Platform
• Design Power BI reports and enable self-service analytics
• Drive process improvement, automation, and standardisation
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and IT teams

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Solid NAV background with AL development and extensions
• Proven experience in ERP customisation, integrations, and upgrades
• Strong understanding of finance and operational ERP processes
• Experience supporting live production environments
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BlI
• Azure integrations, SOL, REST APIs, NET (C#)
• Experience with inventory, Warehouse, CRM, and Workflow modules
• Logistics or operationally intensive industry exposure
