Urgent Hiring – Software Developer Intern (Immediate Start)

Cosmoforge is urgently hiring a Software Developer Intern to join our onsite development team in Galle. This is a paid internship designed for candidates who want real, hands-on experience working on production-level software systems.

Eligibility

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or a related field

Technical Exposure

• Strong programming skills with experience in Python, Java, .NET core, and spring frameworks
• Solid understanding of distributed computing concepts, including system scalability, fault tolerance, and service communication
• Practical exposure to J2EE architecture, enterprise application development, and layered system design
• Hands-on knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
• Knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs, with awareness of API security best practices; GraphQL is a plus
• Proficient in Git for version control; exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug effectively
