This role is for someone early in their PM career who wants real responsibility and growth, not comfort.

Why this role exists

We handle multiple web and software projects.

We need someone who can:

  • Coordinate work
  • Track progress
  • Handle clients
  • Bring structure
  • Grow into a full Project Manager role

This is not a paperwork-only role and not a senior corporate PM role.

What you’ll actually do

  1. Project Coordination & Delivery
  • Track tasks, timelines, and responsibilities
  • Maintain Trello / Jira boards properly
  • Follow up with developers and designers
  • Ensure projects move without delays
  • Escalate risks early, not at the last minute

2. Client Communication

  • Act as the first point of contact for assigned projects
  • Keep clients updated clearly and professionally
  • Manage expectations and timelines
  • Ensure smooth delivery and handover

3. Process & Documentation

  • Follow existing SOPs
  • Help improve SOPs where gaps exist
  • Document project flows, issues, and learnings
  • Ensure knowledge does not stay “in your head”

4. Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with developers, designers, and managers
  • Ensure requirements are clear before execution
  • Reduce rework and miscommunication
  • Keep the CEO out of daily project follow-ups

5. Client Retention & Expansion (Incentive-Based)

  • Ensure strong service even after project completion
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing services like:
    • Maintenance
    • SEO
    • Hosting
  • Coordinate handover to relevant teams
  • Incentives will be provided for successful conversions

What this role is NOT

  • Not a senior PM role
  • Not a sales role
  • Not a passive coordination role
  • Not a “just report and wait” position

You are expected to take responsibility, not just track tasks.

Required Skills & Traits

Must-have

  • Basic understanding of web / software projects
  • Familiarity with tools like Trello, Jira, or similar
  • Clear communication skills (spoken + written)
  • Ability to handle pressure calmly
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Comfortable following up with people

Nice-to-have

  • Prior experience in web, software, or digital agencies
  • Basic understanding of development workflows
  • Client-facing experience

Personality Fit (very important)

You should:

  • Be emotionally stable under pressure
  • Be open to feedback
  • Not take work discussions personally
  • Be organized or willing to become organized
  • Want to grow into a leadership role

This role is not suitable if:

  • You avoid responsibility
  • You struggle with direct communication
  • You need constant instructions
  • You prefer comfort over growth

Growth Path

Project Coordinator

→ Project Manager

→ Senior Project Manager / Operations Lead

Growth depends on performance, not time.

Evaluation Criteria (First 60–90 days)

  • Projects moving with less follow-up
  • Clear documentation and boards
  • Reduced client escalations
  • Better coordination between teams
  • CEO involvement reduced
