About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As part of a Japanese-based organization, you will work in an environment that values precision, reliability, and disciplined processes. You will be involved in testing software applications, validating requirements, and ensuring that delivered systems meet expected quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases based on specifications and test plans
• Understand and validate functional and non-functional requirements
• Identify, document, and track software defects clearly and accurately
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved as expected
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and QA team members
• Maintain clear test documentation, reports, and evidence

Requirements

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes
• Knowledge of test case design
• Understanding of bug life cycle
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to read and understand requirement documents and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Familiarity with basic testing tools

Nice to Have

• Exposure to automation testing (any framework or scripting language)
• Experience testing desktop, web, or hybrid applications
• Understanding of client-server or API-based systems
• Exposure to PLC communication or industrial system testing
