We’re Hiring: Concept Artist

📍 Colombo, Sri Lanka

Digital Turtles is looking for a talented Concept Artist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing compelling visual concepts, characters, environments, and design directions that shape digital experiences across games, AR, VR, animation, and interactive media.

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Create visually compelling concept art for characters, environments, props, and visual assets across various digital and interactive projects

•⁠ ⁠Communicate ideas clearly through strong drawing, design, and visual storytelling skills to support effective team collaboration

•⁠ ⁠Apply art fundamentals including perspective, composition, graphic design, and color theory, to produce engaging visuals

•⁠ ⁠Use tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software to develop textures, visual styles, and design elements that support 3D production

•⁠ ⁠Manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast paced creative workflows

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠A strong portfolio showcasing concept art, visual design, and creative thinking across different styles and mediums

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design tools

•⁠ ⁠Solid artistic fundamentals with the ability to adapt to various brand or project styles

•⁠ ⁠Experience in 3D modeling and texturing is an advantage

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in using AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, creativity, and workflow efficiency

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with real time engines or visualization platforms such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar tools is a plus

•⁠ ⁠Apply art fundamentals, including perspective, composition, graphic design, and color theory, to produce engaging visuals
