Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our development team. As a QA Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications built using modern technologies (including the MERN stack).

You will work closely with developers and product team members to identify bugs, validate features, and improve overall user experience. This role is ideal for undergraduates who are interested in software testing and quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

⦁    Assist in testing web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance

⦁    Execute manual test cases and report bugs clearly and accurately

⦁    Collaborate with developers to understand features and verify fixes

⦁    Participate in test case creation, test execution, and regression testing

⦁    Identify edge cases and help improve test coverage

⦁    Maintain test documentation, bug reports, and test results

⦁    Learn and follow QA best practices and testing standards

Requirements & Qualifications

⦁    Currently an undergraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

⦁    Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing, test cases, bug life cycle)

⦁    Familiarity with web applications and how they work

⦁    Knowledge of QA tools (JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, etc.)

⦁    Basic understanding of API testing

⦁    Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes

⦁    Interest in automation testing

⦁    Experience testing MERN stack applications

⦁    Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

⦁    Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

⦁    Good communication skills for reporting issues clearly

⦁    Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methods
