Role Summary

We’re hiring an Automation Developer who can build reliable automations using n8n and write JavaScript when needed. Your job is to connect tools, move data cleanly between systems, and build workflows that are stable in production (retries, logging, alerts, and no duplicate actions).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain n8n workflows (webhooks, schedules, event triggers)
• Integrate third-party tools using REST APIs (authentication, pagination, rate limits)
• Write JavaScript in n8n Code nodes for data transformation and custom logic
• Design workflows with reliability in mind: retries, error handling, idempotency/deduplication
• Add monitoring: logs, failure alerts, and basic reporting of workflow health
• Document workflows clearly (purpose, inputs/outputs, edge cases, setup steps)
• Keep credentials and sensitive data secure (proper use of n8n credentials, env vars)

Required Skills

• Strong JavaScript (async/await, JSON handling, array/object transforms)
• Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, HTTP methods, and common auth methods (OAuth2, API keys, JWT)
• Real hands-on n8n experience (built workflows beyond simple “connect A to B”)
• Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot broken automations end-to-end

Nice to Have

• Node.js and Express for small helper services when needed
• Databases (MongoDB or PostgreSQL)
• Docker and basic server deployment experience
• Experience integrating CRMs, helpdesks, email systems, WhatsApp, Slack, Google Workspace
