Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and a passion for delivering high-quality products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues, ultimately enhancing the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications and systems.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools; collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on development practices to ensure quality is built into the product from the outset.
• Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of testing documentation and reports.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role within software development.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Experience with performance and security testing is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
