We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented Data Science Interns to join our growing analytics team.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in applying data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to solve real-world HR and recruitment challenges.
You will work on projects such as recruitment data analytics, resume parsing using NLP, candidate-job matching algorithms, attrition prediction, and building interactive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from HR, recruitment, and marketing databases.
- Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and evaluate machine learning models for prediction and classification tasks (e.g., candidate success, attrition, job matching).
- Implement Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for resume parsing and keyword extraction.
- Build data visualization dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights.
- Support the automation of data workflows and recruitment analytics reports.
- Collaborate with the software and HR teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Document analytical findings and present results during review meetings.
- Participate in weekly progress discussions and monthly milestone reviews.
- Complete a capstone project related to recruitment or HR analytics during the final phase of the internship.

By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:

- Perform end-to-end data analysis, from data cleaning to model deployment.

Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib).
- Understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling concepts.
- Basic understanding of NLP and text data analysis.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with Git, Google Colab, or Jupyter Notebooks.
- Exposure to HR, recruitment, or marketing analytics projects.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Excel automation, or data pipelines.
