About the role
The Field Hardware Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support by visiting various locations to troubleshoot and resolve the Pay&Go self-service kiosk's hardware issues.
Responsibilities:
- Age limit 20 to 35
- On-site troubleshooting, Hardware Maintenance, Inventory Management, Problem-Solving.
- Travel to different locations, to assess and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hardware to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure the identified problems are accurately diagnosed and resolved.
- Develop a deep understanding of hardware problems through thorough analysis and continuous learning.
- Manage and update an inventory of hardware components, ensuring an adequate supply of replacement parts.
- Diploma or equivalent, Hands-on experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repairs
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment for hardware assessments, and Strong understanding of computer hardware components, including CPUs, memory, storage, and peripherals.
- Driving license and owning a motorcycle is mandatory for this job.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment for hardware evaluation.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components such as CPU, memory, storage, and ports.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driving license and motorbike are mandatory for this position.
