We Are Hiring: Junior WordPress Developer

Job Description:

• Vision Designing is looking for a WordPress Developer with 1+ years of experience to build fast, secure, and user-friendly WordPress websites.
• The ideal candidate should be familiar with clean PHP, modern WordPress practices, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. 1+ years of professional WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, SEO, core concepts like actions, filters, and template hierarchy).
2. Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL for full WordPress stack development.
3. Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields.
4. Version control with Git and use of staging and code reviews.
5. Knowledge of performance and security best practices, including caching, updates, backups, and hardening.
6. Nice to have: familiarity with headless WordPress, REST/GraphQL, React/Next.js, or Node/Python basics.

Responsibilities:

• Build and customize WordPress websites and plugins.
• Ensure responsive layouts, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, and ensure stable releases.
• Optimize website performance (speed, database queries, uptime monitoring).
• Regularly implement security updates, backups, and site hardening.
• Debug issues, maintain clear documentation, and collaborate via Git-based workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent hands-on experience with a strong project portfolio.
• Ability to ship and maintain production WordPress sites with clean, reviewable code.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with an eagerness to learn new coding skills.
