Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Sri Lanka and international markets
- Develop and execute sales strategies and businessplans independently
- Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and quotations for potential clients
- Negotiate and close deals effectively, ensuring profitability
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smoothproject execution and delivery
- Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
Requirements
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication, presentation, andinterpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets
Industry Experience
- More than 2 years' experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT/software industry
- Exposure to international clients and cross-border salesis an advantage
- Understanding of the IT/software market trends and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Marketing, IT, or a related field
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus
