Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts, ensuring that the software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, mentor junior QA professionals, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team in developing robust testing strategies and plans for software releases.
• Collaborate with product management, development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual testing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, record, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
• Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA lead or in a senior QA role, with a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) is desirable.
