Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Operations Engineer to manage infrastructure, streamline development workflows, and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating deployments, managing cloud environments, and maintaining system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of environments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Implement infrastructure security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and resource utilization.
• Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices deployment.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, etc.) are a plus.
