Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to protect the company’s digital assets, networks, and systems from potential cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing robust security solutions, and ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security breaches or intrusions.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
• Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Design and enforce security policies, procedures, and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into business processes.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Maintain and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Research emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access management principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills.
• Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of network administration and server security.
• Experience with SOC operations and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
• Familiarity with forensics and threat intelligence analysis.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
