We are seeking an Associate Tech Lead or Tech Lead with expertise in AI/ML to drive the design and implementation of intelligent healthcare solutions at VHIL. In this role, you will provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on in building algorithms, managing data pipelines, and guiding model development and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML projects, ensuring successful delivery from research to deployment.
• Collaborate with the AI Research Team to support healthcare-focused initiatives, including data collection, preprocessing, and analysis.
• Design and implement advanced AI algorithms and oversee testing, validation, and optimization.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare datasets, identifying insights and trends that inform model design.
• Evaluate and refine models based on performance metrics and feedback.
• Maintain detailed documentation of research methodologies, experiments, and results.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
• Actively engage in team discussions, providing technical guidance and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years of industry experience, including at least 1 year in a lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g., regression models, Random Forest, classification techniques).
• Experience with deep learning algorithms, generative AI tools, and modern ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
