What You’ll Do

• Translate user needs, business goals, and functional requirements into high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and interactive flows.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend & frontend developers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver user interfaces that are usable, engaging, and technically feasible.
• Develop and maintain design systems (components, style guides, reusable UI modules) to ensure consistency across web & mobile touchpoints.
• Apply user-centered design principles: conduct user research, wireframing, usability testing, iterative refinement, and accessibility reviews.
• Ensure responsive design, cross-device compatibility, performance, and pixel-perfect implementation of UI assets.
• Advocate best practices around user experience, UI performance, accessibility, and design thinking within the engineering and product teams.
• Keep up with latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies (animations, micro-interactions, emerging platforms) to ensure Synapsys’ digital solutions stay cutting-edge.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a UI/UX Engineer, Product Designer, Interaction Designer or similar, ideally with a background in financial / enterprise software.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end projects (from user research + flows to visual design + implementation) for web and/or mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in design & prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar; ability to produce both wireframes and high fidelity mockups.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (including responsive design), JavaScript / JS frameworks (or willingness to collaborate closely with front-end engineers).
• Experience with design systems / component-based UI, version control for design assets, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Good grasp of usability, accessibility (WCAG guidelines), and performance optimization for UI.
• Excellent communication skills: able to present design ideas, rationale, trade-offs, and handle feedback.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple design tasks or projects under deadline.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial software domain.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum workflows.
• Animation / motion design skills.
• Experience with user testing tools, analytics, or A/B testing.
