Role Overview: As an Associate Data Engineer at Digiratina Technology Solutions, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure. You will build reliable data pipelines, ensuring data is accessible and ready for analysis. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will support data-driven decision-making while strengthening your expertise in modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities as Associate Data Engineer:

• Design and Build ETL/ELT Pipelines: Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue to ingest data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Data Warehouse Management: Build, maintain, and optimize data models, data marts, and other data structures in a data warehouse environment (Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift).
• BI Tool Integration: Create, manage, and deliver insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) to meet business needs. You will be expected to write powerful DAX queries to enhance data models and calculations.
• SQL and Database Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting.
• Scripting and Automation: Use Python or a similar scripting language for data manipulation, automation of workflows, and advanced data processing tasks.
• Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure data quality and reliability by implementing monitoring, validation, and error-handling processes within data pipelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with a cloud data warehousing tool such as Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift.
• Proven experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue.
• Demonstrated expertise with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau), including report and dashboard creation and the ability to write DAX queries.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience in Python or a similar scripting language for data scripting and automation.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
