Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for design, a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

You should be confident in building custom WordPress themes and plugins, experienced in both front-end and back-end development, and skilled at delivering high-performance, visually engaging, and interactive websites.

Nice-to-have skills: Experience with PHP/Laravel, DevOps practices, and advanced front-end techniques such as GSAP animations, modern CSS/JS, and other interactive frameworks.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, with bonus points for experience in Laravel.
• Solid front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS, and GSAP.
• Experience with web animations, transitions, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, clean code practices, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Experience deploying and maintaining WordPress sites on various hosting platforms.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and Headless WordPress setups is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development of custom WordPress websites from concept to deployment.
• Develop and maintain custom themes, plugins, and reusable code components.
• Work across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to implement responsive, high-performing UI/UX.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing websites for speed and performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services when necessary.
• Stay current on modern web trends, WordPress updates, and industry best practices.
