Job Title: Robotics, Al & Nvidia Simulations Intern
Job Opportunity:
We are a UK-based robotics start-up building customized robotics solutions for clients in the UK and Europe. Our work includes robot programming, Al-assisted coding, 3D component design, and running simulations on Nvidia GPUs.
We already have two colleagues working with us remotely from Sri Lanka, and now we are looking for a new intern from the Kurunegala area to join our team. You will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in robotics, Al, and 3D design, while working alongside us on real projects.
This is a great opportunity if you are passionate about robotics, willing to learn, and ready to put in 110% effort to grow your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Download and install software needed for robotics and Al work.
- Learn to use Nvidia simulation tools to create digital twins of robots.
- Assist with Al-assisted coding for robot control systems.
- Support in 3D component design using Fusion 360 (robot arms, grippers, parts).
- Help test and run robot prototypes in our Kurunegala lab.
- Read English documentation and follow tutorials to learn new tools.
- Work with the team on small projects and contribute your own ideas
Requirements:
- We are not asking for formal qualifications or degrees. What matters most is your passion and willingness to learn. (Strong motivation and commitment to learn new skills.)
- Must be from Kurunegala area (this role is local only).
- Basic IT knowledge (installing software, using computers).
- If you have a coding background, that will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and understand English (speaking can be basic).
- Interest in robotics, Al, and technology.
- Willingness to self-study and follow tutorials.
- Ability to communicate in Sinhala or English.
