Software Engineering Intern 

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Job Type: 6-Month Full-time Internship - Hybrid (with potential for full-time conversion)

We're offering a unique internship opportunity for motivated students or recent graduates to become integral members of our development team. This role is a perfect blend of feature development and quality assurance, providing a comprehensive learning experience and a clear path to a full-time role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Contribute directly to the development of new features and functionalities on our platforms, receiving hands-on guidance and mentorship from our senior team.
• Test Automation & Manual Testing: Write and maintain test automation scripts and perform manual testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You will learn industry-standard QA processes.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback from senior team members. This is a key opportunity to learn to write clean, maintainable code.
• Bug Fixing: Assist in diagnosing and fixing software bugs and performance issues.
• Research: Support the team by researching new technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work with the team to use our version control and issue tracking systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A passion for technology and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
• A strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures.
• Familiarity with at least one of the following: MERN stack, Flutter, React.js, or Next.js.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a project-based environment or personal projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub is a plus.
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools is a plus.
