Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience building custom WordPress websites and themes, optimizing performance, integrating plugins, and ensuring cross browser and mobile compatibility. You will work closely with our designers, content teams, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality websites and digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
2. Customize existing themes based on client requirements.
3. Build responsive websites that function seamlessly across all major devices and browsers.
4. Integrate and configure third-party plugins and APIs.
5. Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security.
6. Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, or compatibility problems.
7. Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
8. Maintain version control using Git and follow development best practices.
9. Stay up to date with the latest trends in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 1+ years of experience in WordPress development.
2. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
3. Experience with custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce.
4. Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
5. Strong understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and filters.
6. Knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, and AJAX.
7. Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
8. Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues independently.
9. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.

Nice-to-Have:

1. Experience with Headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
2. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress.
3. Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
