The ideal candidate should be dynamic, highly motivated, and results oriented

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure smooth data flow.
• Implement access controls, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Document data standards, procedures, and definitions.
• Collaborate with teams to support application database needs.
• Recommend and implement improvements for database efficiency.
• Assist users with data-related issues and best practices.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups and replication.
• Ensure timely completion of the month-end invoicing cycle.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in database administration or in a similar role.
• Experience in database backup, disaster recovery planning, performance optimization and data security.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL/ MS SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide quick solutions to issues.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.
