Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Backend Developer Intern to join our development team. As a backend intern, you will assist in building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services. 
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to store, retrieve, and manage application data. • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 
• Debug, test, and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Stay up to date with backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, Ruby). • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiar with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
